Sir Knight Walter Shorak, FM was
recently honored by our Council for his great dedication to our Council,
our Order and, in particular, to the 4th Degree over a span of some 30+
years. New York State dignitaries joined with Sir Knights
from several downstate
Assemblies along with Council members, family and
friends to honor this ever dedicated, ever involved, ever
ready for the next challenge Brother Knight. His commitment to
our principles and our Church have earned
Walter the love and respect of many throughout our Order.
Going forward, his personal life
is almost certain to be no less hectic, but a lot
more fun-filled as "Papa Wally" and "Lady Clare" focus in
more on the antics of 12 adoring and
adored Shorak GrandKids whose activities seemingly occur
all at once and include altarservers to football, baseball,
soccer, to breakfast with the old folks at
the local Baldwin Diner. Life may be more funfilled but
it ain't gonna be less hectic. Its time to buy a larger
bottle of Geratol Clare....
